Sorry guys, but I don't think the boss would care for me to be using company equipment for others. I can and do use them as they are mine, so rather not jeopardize that

how do you go about making one? is it aluminum,stainless steel,one piece-2 piece?

It's 316 SS. Single piece, turned on CNC lathe.

Back side. Not sure why I took this pic? possibly for the helm bolt clearance detail. Been some 5 yrs or so. It slips over the helm shaft and uses a set screw to secure. I turned it to match the taper and Dia of the hub. I think I still have the sketch of when I made it. I keep all those worthless prints.

Nice work. I made mine basically the same way. Wanted to make it a mountable hub but cant reach the screws with the taper. As I'm sure you noticed. Nice to see a fellow metal worker making there own stuff.
