Battery relocation 32 fever

Ive been thinking also. I'm re-riging my boat. Moving the two batterys up from the engine bay to the side compartment to help my center of gravity. I would have to trim out the opening a little behind the panel. Anyone done this?

ok,,,so Im thinking of adding this down turn pipes to the boat,,thought is if I direct the exhaust down it might not rattle the boat as it does now at idle with exhaust open,,,
you guys see any reason why I should not do it??water reversion or anything like that??boat has 502s |

I ran 4" rubber downturns with out any issues with my 32 with 502s, worked well and only cost $100 for 4. I moved up my batteries this weekend. I did not have to trim out anything. Ideal is to take some wt off the transom and hopefully raise it up a little.

As long as your existing pipes have a stainless flapper in them you should be fine.
I went ahead and ordered 4 turn downs,,I let you guys know if it solves the rattling issue,,once in the water |
