Thanks, it's been a fun project. I prefer my old retro rods to my new Z06 so this things fits me just fine. More fun to run around with something you built that looks trick and runs hot than something you bought

Yeah I bought a complete used interior from Fountain years ago, in fact, I bought about a half dozen sets of bolsters. I sold everything accept for this one set. I still have a lot of work to do to get it all correct. I'll have my upholstery guy do it this winter.

I can only tell you that the 8.8 fountain with the bravo out drives ran pretty well in stock form even with the anemic 454 Magnums but it didn't take us long at all to start making some pretty Substantial speed improvements we bought a pair of S/S cleavers and greatly improved lower units then we got rid of the intakes and purchased a set of killer heads with team G intakes with flow matched 850CFM Holleys a set of Basset S/S headers and it wasn't long till we were fighting it out on the Hudson against boats like Sutphen a bunch of wellcraft Nova and lost count how many checkmate and Baja ..we were kings for a weekend until the Guedos showed up with Black Hustler and surface drives but trimmed up real light with a good stern breeze we were right at the 100 mph threshold ...it's one incredibly tough boat .what a beating this fountain took ...
