Different water produces different results. Mine won't do 70 on the Ohio River - too much sand/dirt, I guess. Got it to 69 GPS with a labbed RH 24p Bravo 1. Performance report says 70mph speedo, 68.5mph GPS -with a hydromotive 15.5" x 23p. As far as I can tell, engine has never been opened.
I'm running about as close to factory stock as can be done, I'd guess. ...with just over 400 hours on the engine/hull. By the way, it's also for sale!

I had a 2000 fountain 27' 502 mag efi bone stock, 200 hours, bravo 1 outdrive with 1.50 ratio, 23p hydromotive lh rotation. Ran 67mph on gps at 4950 rpm. Brett from BBlades told me to Lab a 24p bravo 1 and it would get me out of the hole better, have good cruise performance and should get me 70-71 mph at 5150 rpm. I ran 71 mph gps, 3/4 tank of fuel, 2 on the boat, water like glass, about 78 degrees low humidity.
