38 Lightning interior
Any idea where i can find info on how to remove the side panels of the cockpit with the sling doors? it looks like I'd have to take the bolsters loose.:cartman:

You do have to take the bolsters out.

has anyone taken a new style bolster apart, 07? I have to remove mid section, stich came apart.
|
Yup, bolsters first through that little hole :) I cut the frot of mine down when I had the interior redone, and the screw and light holes filled and matched. The front section serve no purpose IMO. I stopped just a few inches after the opening in the boat, now they come out with the bolsters in.
Leave the bolster leg screwed to the floor and unbolt the seat from the leg, the leg is lag bolted to the floor, best to leave alone. |
Does anyone know a midget who's good with a ratchet that I can stuff through the access hole to unbolt the bolster? My 4 year old nephew wont fit. :readinghelp:

I was able to work myself pretty far into that hole, once you get I there, lots of room. The lower nuts can be taken off with a small electric impact to save time, the top ones rachet wrench |
