Mark,
I saw my boats big brother at the PR. "Quick Deliveries" Bob was having some fun with the "King"! It was fun to watch them for a few seconds before they disappeared out of view.

Too Bad your out this weekend CandyMan. They do say its bad luck not to name your boat. I have spent several days now flushing out my Port motor, headers off, valve covers off, plugs, oil, filter. I had a header leaking water into the motor. Had it fixed and it is a s good as new and the motor is fine. Coast Gaurd is two weekend from this, are you in, or are you out. It will be a blast. We'll set you up if you come. And is the King, "Good to be King", that boat is sweet. I dont think I would bother trying to lock horns with him. Midnight

MIdnightRider,
I haven't named a boat yet! Quick Deliveries is a 96 42' twin of mine, same graphics. The boat has triple 525's and use to run in the low 90's. I don't know if he has played with it. You no how fast the triple engine boats accelerate. The King is definitely faster but he couldn't walk away from the Fountain from 20 to 90. Man did that sound good. I don't know about CG Fest. I guess I probably won't know until that weekend. If I'm going to be there I'll let you know. Are you guys heading over for the Air Show?

I will most likely hit Saugutuck this weekend, then be in Grand Haven the Next two after for Coast Gaurd. I am going to have people in, out, and around a bit the next several weeks. If you come it will be fun, I would like to give you a ride. The engines dont look like much, "we spent the money on the inside, not the outside" said the old owner. The builder told me he built the biggest most reliable set-up he could for someone who couldn't change a spark plug. And he is right, they have run great, and just sound unbelievable. I still catch wood eveytime I fire it. But I agree with you on the pull. Out of the hole to 5800RPM that boat does not let up. If I hit at 4000 RPM it will set you back in the seat. There are faster boats out there, I have not met one in my area yet, LOL, but you better bring it all when we go to lock horns. It's really fun at about 4500r's, because that is where allot of boats are to the wood. And you just run with them for a bit, and they think they really got a race on their hands, then you open the hatch's and throw a couple a more logs on the fire and, bye bye! It's more fun then anything I have ever owned. Midnight
