Personally, I think its worst case scenario advice. A guy at Formula told me they have some customers with cruisers with 800 hours on 525's. Change oil with Mercury 25W-40 every 25 hours.
800 hours is good news, my HP500EFI's have 370ish, springs done around 320. |

I have an 05 w 525 & less than 90 hours I promise you probably one of the cleanest 29s out there

I am curious as to why someone would recommend changing the oil after only 25 hours? Is this recommendation for full synthetic? I used to send in my oil to have it sampled and found out I was just draining good oil. 5000 miles of 11'camper and trailer with 4 - 4wheelers and the oil was still in good shape (Mobil 1 15w-50). I have 20 hours on Mercury 25-40 full synthetic in my Fountain. I'm going to have it sampled and compared to a new sample. Fram makes the kits. Last time I bought one it was $15 for the service.

I have a 29 with 500hp and boostpower bpx 2 supercharger , accl dfi , imco shorty, currently own a 35 also , will make sweet deal
