taco is one of them but they suck!! their warrenty sucks as well..i had put new white rub rail on from taco products and it started to turn yellow after a year,,they asked where i bought it from and i told them ebay and they said to take it off the boat and they will send me some new rubrail..so i took off all the rub rail and threw it away..well after about a week no new rub rail so i called them and they said it should be their in a couple days...it arrived at the shop on a thursday and i said cool i can go boating this weekend,,well taco only sent me one 20' legnth and i was like WTF..so i called them and they said that the rub rail i had om my boat was discontinued,,i was like you have to be kidding me rite?? well i called a few times and still no rub rail,,they were soppose to scout the us for 3 more 20' legnths..so now i already threw away the reurail that was on the boat and no new rub rail was to be found and for a nice ending taco basically told me to go pound...NEVER AGAIN will order from taco..it ends up i found out that tack dont make their own product and their is a bigger mfr that does and they are just the middle man...order from here,,you can get it in full legnths so theirs no seams..start from the front, screw it in place, take a ratchet strap and through bolt it at the transom on both sides and tighten the strap so the rub rail is real tight on the sides of the boat and start drilling holes..

this one has the ss insert,,go back to the main page to find what you need...this place is way cheaper then taco as well..you get like 80' for the same price as 20' from taco..

I'm also looking to change my rub rail on my 2002 Fountain 27.. look like there is 2 models (size) on tacomarine.com TACO# V12-0342 or TACO# V12-0303 and 2 different color in white.. Artic White or Frosty white.. does anyone know what is the original color and size ? my boat is stored for the winter 1 hour away from my home, just can't measure at this time. Thanks.

it makes no diffrence they are both discontinued and the they only have frosty white left over stock..

call West Marine with the part number and they have it in stock,,a 20 foot section is $98.00 and free shipping..

everyone else I called wants over $100.00 just for delivery

the rub rail is rigid and not bendable you can not get it any longer than 20 feet
