Default 35 or 38

There are many things to consider with this choice. I have a 2000 35' Lightening with twin 500 EFI's that runs 88-90 after prop work done by Mark Croxton that I absolutely love. I was looking for a 32' origionally but found most of the extra length in my case was in the front on the engines so with the 35 I am able to lie down on the floor and easily work on the motors so keep that in mind(ease of maintenance) Either way you will be happy as a fountain owner I'm sure! Cost would also be a big deal and staggered motors versus not.

Why more costly to maintain???

I have had both and that 3' does make a difference. 1993 35 and have 2001 38 now. 38 hands down. I would love to go to a 42. I'll sell you this one and you have seen it.

Both great boats but as soon as you buy the 35, the 38 will haunt you....
