Right,,,,Mike is the only guy I know that has bigger bullit proof motors built and doesnt know how fast his boat really is !!!!

In my opinion that boat should tickle 90.

Plus dont forget we stay on our boats and carry half our houses with us LOL

40k is not the top end of my range but sure seems like reasonable money for a older flat bottom boat

Sommerfliesby's boat is really nice. Well cared for, and tastefully upgraded engines and drives.

With some labbed props, light load, the boat should tickle 90.

I try not to base my assumptions of pricing based off book and market conditions. I look at what it is, what it has, and most important, what it needs. Buying a boat for 40k and having to drop 20-30k in rebuilds, updates, upgrades and repairs isn't as good o a deal as the one for say 50k that's done.

Not saying I wouldn't give better money for a real nice boat that I didn't have to touch but the fact of the matter is that book values and market conditions set the bar for those of us who are average joes that don't have 50k laying around to burn. High end of a 93 35 lightning with 500hp's is about 40k book value that is where the previously stated number came from. I'm not looking to lowball or offend anyone but I also can't see paying more than a boat is worth. It's hard to sell a boat in today's market, I know it took me over a year to sell a 29 that was priced lower and as clean as any I've seen on the market today.
