I just noticed the boat left the water easier. You had to be quicker to back off and also quicker to get back on it...I'm guessing the latter was due to there being less "bite" in the water than the regular length drives would provide. Being that you are learning a new boat, you probably won't notice.

I'm no kung-fu throttle-master, but I've spent my share of time in bumpy water without too much carnage...lol...
