Default Fever seat pump wont stay up

My front passanger seat dosen't stay up. Worked fine until my buddy brought some Fat girl on my boat last year. As soon as you put weight on it, it creaps down. Should I be looking for a leak or is there a check valve that went bad ?

Mine is doing the samething. There is a thread on here where this was discused. I beleive the oil was leaking pasted the pump back into the tank. I was told to go onto ebay and buy a pump and just change it out. I'll let you know more on this. I will fix mine next week. I beleive if you put this subject line in the search box up top.You may be able to pull the threat I'm talking about. It's step by step info on it if you find it.

Did you find the thread? If not I printed it. Email me a fax number and I can fax you a copy of it. It's pretty much a step by step fix for the seat problem. By the way the fat girl didn't break this. She may have help finish it off but I'm sure it was already leaking back past the pump slowly. Mine started so slowly I thought I was imagining it for while. [email protected]
