I wiped it down with acetone. I did not sand. Paint is rock soild with hardener, couldn't be happier.

I did the sides of mine in white, and the bottom in alum silver, looks ten times better, will post pics when I get all my tools out of the way.

500efi with the kits from ateco would of been in the boat but my daughter has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks and she comes first
