Thanks everyone. I am sure I will meet some of you at poker runs, first one up for me is Lake Lanier. rgrgoog the previous owner hit 99 in Louisiana with Herings, I am hoping to hit triple digits being in the higher altitude I am in.

That and the air up there probably has a bit less humidity than we have down here as well.

You have that backwards, baseballs and footballs may travel further at higher altitudes but boat engines don't make as much HP as they do at sea level, not to mention salt water is usually faster than fresh.

Long story short: Had a 2002 F350 7.3 that was costing me per month, got an 2008 w/ extended warranty for the 6.4 and it is a POS ( at least the one I got is), so not sure yet. My 2008 broke down the day I bought it and the extended warranty company will not cover it. All ready got my attorney on it. All that being said it will be a Chevy Duramax or Dodge Cummings. Look forward to seeing it in person at Lanier.

That's a nice boat, Congrats but I have a question how close is that whipple pulley to the forward wall of the engine compartment? How do you get that belt off?

Sorry to hear that. I have two of the 6.7s and I love them. No a single problem yet but both are under 30K mileage. I have heard tons of horror stories on the 6.0s and the 6.4s. I wish you luck with the attorney.

Leonard, not sure on the distance(its close) I will check it out this weekend. But since it is a high performance boat I should never have to do any maintenance or take that belt off right(LOL)? The bottom is not near as close, I assume you need the thickness of the belt for clearance.
