Thumbs up 47 with new Merc 1350s?

Hi,

Just wonder what kind of speed one could expect if 2x1350s were installed in a 2006 --> 47 Lightning with 2x850s? It would be a fantastic rough water boat...

Thanx :-)

Seems like a conservative number. I'd say at least 250 with Wilson lowers

850's should run 103- 105 and 1350's around 130.

Ok :-) From my understandings, the 47s with 2x1075 ran about 115-120 mph. If we put on a molded "wing lip" at the rub rail about 10 inches widé to each side of the boat, it could be faster... I want to test it on my little boat first though.. 140?

I'd put a canard wing on the nose.
