i'm paying 879.00 for insurance the boat is still shrink wrapped from the trip home....I've been working on the boat house and lift. Still haven't purchased the lift i'm leaning toward the Hi Lift 10 or 12000 lbs, Will do pictures when I unwrap the boat. Thinking I better change the water pump prior to putting it on the water

Change the gear lube in the mechanical fuel pump reservoir while you are changing the water pump impeller. Its a litle more work to remove that whole assembly, but it makes cleaning out that reservoir and changing the gear lube in it, much easier. A lot of folks don't even know that that reservoir is there.
