Default Early model 42 with trip 525SC's test report... top speed?

What did the first generation step 42's with 525SC's with trips run top end and which props were they using?
Anyone have the test report on one?

Fountain Powerboats will give you the test report in excel format if you email them. Reggie III will give you the numbers off the top of his head if you call Real Fast Marine

I know 100 is way high.
Someone I know said 92mph when his 97 was new but even that too seemed high.

TRL 's response was sarcastic of course

There is a on my lake with trip 550hp n/a engines that runs upper 80's. I agree that mid to high 80's is where that boat would be straight bottom.

I had a 1993 42 radar at 75 MPH, sold it and after tune up, etc new owner saw 81 GPS on a regular basis.
