My anchor locker has taken a major beating over the years. Has worn through the paint or gel coat or whatever it was in there from the factory.. bare wood showing now. I tried using rubber mats to minimize the damage, but at this point I need to dry it out and coat it with something good. Was htinking even Rhino lining it but prefer something for marine use that can take a beating from an anchor bouncing. Not enough room to put an anchor mount in there either. Suggestions anyone?

Mine does not have a anchor locker. I wish it did. But I would assume its a gelcoat. The Rhino liner after repairing it to stock may not be a bad idea at all. I had the duck hunting boat sprayed and is holding up great. You should be able to get it in a color close to what you want.

When my anchor bounced around and punched a hole in the floor of the anchor locker I glassed the shyt out of it to repair it and mounted my anchor upright with chocks in the floor to hold the base of the danforth style anchor and use a hole drilled in anchor shaft and secure that to a post attached to the posterior wall with a large quick release pin (http://www.jergensinc.com/site/sfg_kwik-lok%C2%AE_pins). Then I wrap the anchor flukes tightly with shock cord to hold them still. Working great for 5 years.
