Watch your water lines. Need to always go uphill from thru hull to past pump, otherwise you'll have an air pocket and the pump won't pull water unless you bleed it. I have to crack my strainer lid just a hair to bleed off the air pocket if I run my AC with boat in water. I knew this going in, but the routing I choose to do didn't t give me the perfect flow path. A simple valve like what you have in that loop will do the trick easily to bleed the air pocket if you turn it upwards. I assume that valve is for your dockside waterhose option?

I believe I've seen that boat in a pic on here a while back. If its the same one, it sure was a nice looking boat!

If i might make a suggestion, I'd replace the PVC elbow with a bronze one. be easy to crack it by accident when working in bilge. We had a cruiser sink here in our marine when someone bumped that same setup as yours when stepping out and didn't notice they cracked the elbow at the threads before closing the hatch. The next morning the steering wheel was a little wet

Left that there for the picture I knew someone would comment on it LOL. I have the bronze fitting on already nothing was glued yet. That was the first thing I noticed once I had it in place. I have black hose from the fitting to strainer and the clear 225psi clear through the pump and some 150 going forward double clamped all the way over kill but it will be safe

Depends on what options you have and what you want. I am doing the AC and the tunes before i splash it. If I dont install it now it will never get done. Remember, not to many days that you cant boat in the sunshine state. Idle zones suck this time of year.
