I have a 47 lightning triple, 1997. The bearing onthe driveshaft extension for the center engine broke last weekend. I pulled the drive shaft but when i tried to pull the housing that holds the bearing and bolts to tthe transom plate, the bolts would not clear the exphaustb Y pipes on both rear engines. I loosened both bolts until they hit the exhause but they wouldnt come out. The only way i can see to get the bearing carrier off to change the bearing is tompull both rear enngines
