Come for a ride on my vintage Fountain

I wouldn't exactly call it "rough" water for our lake. If someone asked me what kind of water it was, I'd probably reply "Fun water". I'd say that was 1-2FT with a occasional 3' in there. Its water you can run hard in. Sometimes out there, I don't care if you are in a 47 Apache, you just cant run in it. Generally speaking, having been on several old 38 Cigarettes, and obviously my boat, the Fountain is a drivers boat. It doesn't as much plow thru it, it runs over it. The Cig's have a little more plush, uneventful ride in that stuff. I prefer being a driver, to run the Fountain in that. Just because its more fun to me. Kind of like comparing driving a Vette, vs a Lincoln town car. Sure the town car is a bit more plush ride, but I wanna have fun. You can hear oso "sommerfliesby" who's doing the camera work, and "sonic700" in the back seat smiling away. One owns a 37AT, the other a 38 Cig Flatdeck. They had fun on the boat. There hasn't been any times I can think of where I've ran with my cigarette buddy's, and had been outrun by their "hulls" in rough water. However, I will give the nod to the Cig for the softer ride in the rough. Different designs, different results. But both top notch. Its all in what you like!
Great Video Joe, I would love to do some boating in Chicago sometime.

About 3:30 is where I appreciate the Fountain hull and my little 468 engines.
