Default Trailer question for 35 guys

If you deduct the platform what is the true length of the hull transom to tip of beak? Is it a 24° bottom?

I was going to refurbish my trailer in the spring but saw the 01 for sale at Pier 57 for a good price. Weight wise it will work for me. Just curious what mods I would need to do. Also can anyone explain why the inner bunks end so far up?

Mine is 32'7" from tip to transom, 24°.

Thanks

What!!!!!!!

Your "33" isn't a true 33 foot,,,,,,,,,,,

But on to the question, most fountains seem to have a 2 foot swim, so I would say 33 foot. But I haven't put a tape to one so the guys with a 35 can chime in.

Just havin some fun,

I'm sure it would fit, we just set up one of my lifts for an '01 35 , the boat measures 32' minus the beak & platform

01 trailer is set up for steps, not sure if yours is stepped or not but that will be a factor

To answer your question about the inner bunks, here is what we discovered when comparing my hull to a 36 Baja this summer, The illustration is exaggerated for effect, but it was true for where the running surface starts when comparing to that model. The Baja's leading edge slopes back and the fountain cuts down faster following the curve of the beak. May not be the same with all brands, but overall the front of my boat meets the water before a Baja of 36 ft with no molded platform.

To answer your question I believe you will have no issues with your boat on that trailer, there is always room for adjustment at the winch brace

Thanks I didn't even think about the step. The bunks I am referring to are the ones near the transom. Really curious why they stop so short. The ad is on here. I will see if I can link it when I get time.
