Used to haul my 32 with an extended cab silverado. After upgrading to a kodiak c4500 i would never tow with anything else. Truck is solid and in absolute control. With such braking ability it does'nt even care if the trailer has brakes. Stops like nothing is even hooked up

This is the 2500HD 6.6 Duramax that pulls the 47. It pulls locally, but doesn't normally exceed 100 mile trips. Boat is for sale. |
Any decent 1 ton will pull the boat anywhere with ease.

God damn, it's always amazing how much bigger these boats seem sitting on trailers compared to water :) Great looking boats.

Honestly if your using a high quality up to date HD trailer EOH brakes etc. to handle the boat then the truck is less important. If your using an old worn out trailer that can not handle its own load then yes a truck can act like a banaid to the towing problem.
All your options work but option 1 sounds the best I personally tow a 51' car hauler with upgraded SRW Cummins for over 1 million trouble free miles (between multiple similar rigs) Good luck and enjoy shopping for your new boat! |

PM 4bus.....he will have some impressive Tundra stats for you to consider.....:party-smiley-004:
Kidding of course, for the 47 go with the Tundra Diesel Dually |
If you have the big 650 and the correct trailer. With the combined weight, is it even legal to drive without a cdl? I expect the weight will be over 26,000lbs.

I may be wrong, but I don't see a 32 being in the same category as these 47's. :)
