Used to haul my 32 with an extended cab silverado. After upgrading to a kodiak c4500 i would never tow with anything else. Truck is solid and in absolute control. With such braking ability it does'nt even care if the trailer has brakes. Stops like nothing is even hooked up

This is the 2500HD 6.6 Duramax that pulls the 47. It pulls locally, but doesn't normally exceed 100 mile trips. Boat is for sale.

That's gotta be a riot to back into a parkng spot :lolhit::)

Any decent 1 ton will pull the boat anywhere with ease.

God damn, it's always amazing how much bigger these boats seem sitting on trailers compared to water :) Great looking boats.

Absoluty agree with Bluemagic. No 1 Ton Dually is designed for that kind of weight. Yes it may pull it just fine but the stopping and stability is the big issue. The brakes on Medium Duty trucks are so much larger as Bluemagic said they don't care if the trailer brakes are working or not. I went from an F350 Dually where it was always a white nuckle ride to an F650. Now I can sit back relax and watch the miles go by. You don't even know your towing anything. Just an amazing difference. I know this topic comes up for discussion on here all the time. What I can't believe is all the guys who have the money to buy and run these big boats always want to skimp out on the tow vehicle. Come on guys if you want the BIG toys buy a proper tow vehicle and quit endangering your lives and everbody elses who is on the road with you. Just my .02 worth.

All your options work but option 1 sounds the best

I personally tow a 51' car hauler with upgraded SRW Cummins for over 1 million trouble free miles (between multiple similar rigs)

Good luck and enjoy shopping for your new boat!

Thats no kidding either, my 38 fountain the trailer was ordered for the boat, fits great every time, all three 8 lug axles have EOH disk brakes, and I was suprised at first that my 38 fountain towed better than my 26 wellcraft nova did on a universal trailer. After seeing/feeling the difference I definatley won't skimp on the trailer again.

My Tundra will pull the crap out of that 47 :D

Kidding of course, for the 47 go with the Tundra Diesel Dually

If you have the big 650 and the correct trailer. With the combined weight, is it even legal to drive without a cdl? I expect the weight will be over 26,000lbs.

I may be wrong, but I don't see a 32 being in the same category as these 47's. :)

A cheap, but legal alternative. ;) :D

Would be my choice.
