My 1800 runs new 502 running 200 rpm less then my 502 Merc motor thinking its a wimpy cam has anyone pulled a cam from one and measured it?

Have not done so but I put a 502 from them in a 27 warlock a few years back. Bone stock besides imco powerflows and the boat ran every bit of 70 mph. I will tell you that the engine sounded like a 454/330 at idle. No lope to it at all. I had 454 magnums that sounded better.

The guy up there is ok to talk to. Give him a call and ask for the specs on the cam.

Do a search for ROCKFISH71 he had a thread several years ago about a 502 he purchased from 1800new with lots of pictures. Best of everythiing. GM builds the engines, 1800 drop ships them after they are ordered. They don't
have them sitting on a shelf.

My 21 liberator ran 60 with a tired 330, my old 271 fastech did 62 with a 502 so that warlock was quick! thanks for the input ,link says 483 lift think 502 mag has more than that. JIM

1800Runsnew motor running great ,had bad ignition module that was ok on old engine but wasnt after the swap , go figure.
