Looks like you're going to have one hell of a nice boat when you're done. Good to see someone doing it right. Just curious, before you started this project did you compare the cost difference of rebuilding vs brand new engines? Also, if you haven't tried it already, try using Sno Bol (toilet clearner) in your bidge. It's available at Ace Hardware. Very good chance it'll get rid of the rest of those bilge stains.

I have not tried it. Someone else suggested I try a bol cleaner for the yellowing though. Also told me to go to ace hardware and buy it. Im going to give it a shot. It may be just what's needed to finish the job off in the right fashion. I certainly want it to look as good as possible.

I went by and sat with Ron for a little bit today he had gotten my accessories back from powder coating. I also saw spicy's motors while we were chatting. What a great looking set of motors. Spicy you should really post a few pictures for the guys to see. They are certainly worthy of being on here if I have even seen a set that are worthy.

Thank you lucky.... I have a complete build thread going on over on boatfreaks... Sorry don't have time to do it on the 4 sites I look at... The link is below. If you can't see it I will start a new thread on here. I started this project just over 2 months ago, and it should be 100% by this coming weeks end... I leave Friday to head to Florida for show and poker run...

Spicy Ron called me Tuesday and we are about to start assembly. We had a issue with my old intakes as far as corrotion. Ron thought they could be fixed so we could reuse them. Turns out they could not be fixed. He found another set that will be here on Monday. They were shipped out of up state NY and the snow as been a real issue for everyone including Fed Ex. Anyhow they are finally on the way here. We are reusing my fuel systems and Ron was thinking that boring to 508 cubic inch and 500 HP would about the most of it using my old set up. Tuesday he called and has a different idea about everything. He ask if I mind if he punched them out to 540 Cubic inch that he was going to do something completely different with my fuel system. I obviously told him to go man go. Surprise me please. He laughed at me and said ok I will surprise you then.
