Default Orange things

91 fountain fever.

Ok look at engines from the back seat. You have the bulk head wall where the two fuel lines come out and run along that tall stringer beam going toward each engine. About a foot off the bulk head wall there is a inline filter that is orange and believe says fram on it and there is a fuel shut off lever before or after.

I know of the fuel water seperator filters on top of the engines. What are these two orange things. They are much smaller than a typical fuel filter maybe half the size. The outside of it doesnt lead me to think its a filter assembly like a screw off filter, maybe there is something inside, is it a screen? I dont know, never touched it and looking at it, doesnt seem a logical way to take it apart that I can see.

Anybody know what these are , supposed to be serviced etc.

You talking about this?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/frm-hpg1/overview/

Its just another filter someone added. Its a race car/automotive type that has a cartridge style filter inside of it.

The bottom section just unscrews like an oil filter. And yes it will be full of full, lol.

They sell replacement cartridges, sometimes you can even buy them at a local Advance, Pep Boys, etc. If not, summit/jegs/etc will have them.

If noone is sure when they were last changed, I would do it for peace of mind...they are cheap.
