I love these threads touting each brand, specifically Cig vs Fountain. I've got an off-brand no-name boat that runs 85 every day. My power (775hp a side) in a fountain would be pushing close to a 100 I'm sure...
But I can stand up in my (I'm 6') cabin and it sleeps 5 comfortably, full camper top and comfortable amenities.
Can we agree that both those brands are over-priced? ;P
I'd own one in a second if I could find one at reasonable price! It would have to be at least a 38 Fountain for me...
My buddy has a CLEAN 29' Fountain (older hull, 1995) with HP 500s for 34k Canadian (like 30 US funds). It shocks me that its not sold...

Rambocj7,
I happen to like the "off-brand" "no-name" boats as you put it as well. I have had an Active Thunder as well as a Saber. I have also had a formula and onto a fountain. all good boats and all unique in their own right.
