According to Brett at BBlades, Fountain had always equipped the boats with Bravo ones. They wanted to get a better deal on them but Merc said no. Hydromotive was happy to say yes and supply the props so the props changed from the factory supplied.. My prop guy (Spinelli) tells me the hydros have more stern lift (keeping it level in the rough but more boat in the water) and Bravo's have more bow lift keeping the boat up and running quicker. If you are running 27 Hydro's and 5500 rpm (or close to even if tachs are off) then I believe 28 Bravo ones would be for you. I'd still talk to BBlades 1st (they are always willing to talk for free) before jumping into a purchase.
