Any pics on location of lights on transom? I should get my lights tomorrow........ I also ordered red LED's for the cockpit. That's either going to look really good or terrible. We'll see.....

I would check with Pier 57. Seems likely that they've installed some and can give you some info.

I have found that the blue light looks by far the best. I purchased a set of lights that have 8 colors but almost always leave them on blue while I am riding around. When I am parked I put it on different colors.

I put a Hurley drain plug light on our 2007 42' Fountain, and am very disappointed, can hardly see ANY blue light at night on Lake Michigan, I mean "is that thing even on or off" and have to stick head over side and TRY to see any blue light.

It's advertised as a 1200 lumen 10 watt LED.
The drain plugs are forward on the stepped part of the transom, and below swim platform; with 2 x SSM6 outdrives on staggered engines there is both distance, and 2 lower units blocking some of the light...still, disappointing.
Maybe I can save some people money on drain plug lights at least on Lake Michigan water live and learn.
