You could try bblades they have a lending program. But by the time you pay for shipping and everything back and forth it can get exspensive.

Awe hell. I've tried a lot of different props with a lot of different pitches and I always come back to a 26P. Good luck with your search, Sounds like you are getting closer!!

I bit the bullet and ordered a Hydromotive last week for my 27 fever with the 525sc. I was going to order a 25p to replace the 26p bravo 1 that I had. Todd had a 26p that was already set up for a fountain (diameter cut down 1/2" and blades sharpened, not thinned) , he cut me a deal on it, so I picked it up. I wanted to gain rpm which is why I was going to go with the 25p and figured this 26p would be about the same rpm as the 26p bravo. So I picked up a little smaller blower pulley to get it up a little higher. Well the mods worked out great. Boat got on plane fine, no noticeable difference from bravo to hydro. Cruise speed was the same, no noticeable difference from the bravo to the hydro. Acceleration was a whole lot better (im sure increased boost helped some). Top speed increased by 4.5mph, The weekend before last the boat went 73.3mph with the 26p bravo 1 at 5psi of boost. Thats 60 gallons of fuel, 3 guys, all gear, pretty calm water conditions, and about 65-70 degrees. This weekend the boat went 77.8mph with the 26p hydromotive at 8psi of boost. Same amount of fuel, 2 guys, all gear, pretty calm water conditions, and about 80ish degrees. Now I know the increase in boost helped, but with the 177 blower it wasn't a huge increase. I am factoring the boost accounted for maybe 2mph, and the prop 2-3mph. The boat handles very well, and was rock solid at that speed, the 26p bravo I would get some walk out of it up top, and seemed to ride a little bow light. I may do a test day between the 2 props to have exact same conditions, load, etc..But I don't see the bravo getting within 2-3mph of the hydro, nor do i see it having the stability with the bravo.

Great info, too many variables

Be good to see prop difference between the two, same boost

My Bravo 1 - 24P is far better than hydro 23.5P, but I too talked to Todd yesterday, they really seem to got their ****tttt together on Fountain, makes me want to try a 24 or 25 then have them mod it
