These are what I installed on our 90 38 fever, stock carb'd 454 mags

I didnt gain much on top end, maybe 1-2 mph, but the midrange was definateley improved, especially when running the throttles in rough water.
I've never really got to hear our boat from not in the cockpit but my wife says from the shore it sounds like it has a much deeper, throatier sound than it did with the the stock merc center rise manifolds.
I ran into some fitment issues and I would say most of that was related to trying to make them work with the silent choice. The custmer service at CMI was outstanding in hekping resolve the issues. I would defintley buy them again.
