Default Engine alarm beeps when revved

2006 38ft fountain with 525's- when revved in neutral to a quick 3000 the light on the dash blinks and beeps. wondering what is causing that? Only one engine is doing it. Scanned them for codes and both engine had same codes. Any ideas. I have a video on my phone that i could text. 7324252189

Its Normal for a 525 in neutral not to rev over 3000 rpm ,,,,, id be checking the neutral safety switch on the motor that revs all the way up,,,,,, will that motor start in gear????

Obnoxus,
I am not saying your wrong, but I watched(recently) someone get in a single engine "stock" 525 canopy race boat and inadvertently pushed the throttle forward with his foot climbing in. When he hit the starter the motor started and immediately revved to what sounded like well over 3K until he realized what he had done. But then again I did not see the tach so maybe it was less than 3K, but it sure sounded like 4000+ to me! I just know everyone was like what the he!! is he doing, that cant be good for the valve train!

To the individual that did this, if you read this...sorry for making fun of you with everyone else on the pier(not really)! I wont name names.

My 525's do the same thing . I think its a low water pressure alarm . Could be wrong but remember seeing something about that in the manual , nothing over 1500 rpm's in neutral.

False alarm. Turns out both motors are doing it. Which now make sense to me that they have neutral rev alarms at which is why they are not suppose to be free revved. I just found it weird only one engine was doing it. But That was false.
Thanks everyone

Neutral rev alarm - you will hit it no and then by accident.
