I think most have the cooler according to pictures i see...

I thought it was a cooler on the Executioner (fridge optional extra) and the Lightning was standard with the fridge.

Two of the lightings I have owned had coolers and one had the fridge.

Could that have changed over different years of production??

I guess there is no standard answer to the O.P's question, treat every 42 as 'individual'.

maybe they changed the standard option build sheets.

I much rather have a cooler vs. the fridge. just works better for day boating for us.
