The cabin don't get used much at all honestly. Mainly for changing and storage so a poker run type half cabin don't bother me at all. The single step would be fine as well it's just hard to find without power lol. That my thing I'm looking for a project.

nice ride but definitely more than im wanting to spend like I said when I sell this one ill be paying cash for something that needs power. engines are nothing for us to come up with or build.

it all depends on what you think you might want and start your search. you can't go off of someone else or their opinions, everyone of us are geared differently. i personally would like to start all over again and go with a small run about with big hp. my last six boats have been 37-41 feet for that past 15 years of my life. i'm now 38 with a wife and a 6 yr old that do not enjoy boating nearly as much as i do, so many times i head out alone or with whomever i can find. it's plenty of work running a large boat if you maintain it and do most everything yourself. it will wear you down after a while. i would enjoy a 20- 24 ft boat with a big motor that runs near 100, easy to maintain and lots of fun. gets you back into a boat you have to really "drive". i cant even imagine only putting in 100 bucks and enjoying myself for the day. it's not always about getting the biggest boat you can afford, it's about getting what you will enjoy, hope this helps you.

Thanks for the input. There are a couple boats besides the fountains I would buy that are a touch smaller than 27. One is a 25 foot talon cat. A 242ls formula. Or a 24 foot cat of some sort.

Well I may have found a 10m that has nice paint a good interior bravos supercharged 502s but one needs replaced cause they cratered it. But it does have bravos and a really really nice three axle trailer that's pretty new. They guy is thinking of trading my straight up for my running 27 fever I may take it as I have a syd bore 502 I can drop in and reuse the supercharger etc on my engine. Opinions?

Of check the hull. Pay for a good survey at least for hull. Don't wanna end up in a wet wood boat

Yeah I got a buddy that is a mRine surveyor I'll probably take him with me to go look at it if the deal is doable.
