Is there any difference at all in a 42' Lightning from '89 to '94? They look identical to me since the integrated transom started in '89 then the steps started in '95.

Also I think the cabin changed in those years. I've seen some with older and some with newer in te 89-90 range.

That's true; the '89/'90 had an older looking cabin. They don't have the U shape seating, they're more like benches. Then there is some glass between the benches and sleeping area. I guess I wonder more about any hull differences affecting speed in that '89-'94 year range.

No speed differences. Should all be padded and notched.
