Bravo 1s on mine. Not sure why you would go to bravo 3s on a high performance boat..

Yeah, well everyone said our SCs weren't really performance boats. Though I begged to differ.. Top speed 65-70.. Well so far I noticed I lost all maneuverability. I use to be able to turn on a dime, now it takes a football field to do a 180.... A somewhat quicker plane off. That's it so far.....

Mine is a difficult boat to dock with Bravo1s but handles great at speed. While not the true performance model Fountain it runs favorable speeds to many comparible powered performance boats-Sonics and Formulas.

Mine was setup identical to yours just a 1992 hull. I need some schooling on how to drive double bravo IIIs, seriously different in tight quarters, find myself making 10 point turns to make a 180....

At my launch ramp there is very little room for a 180 so I just put one drive in forward and one in reverse the boat turns in it's own length, however trying to dock it in tight spots is a different matter were I need lots of room and very embarrassing at times.

With my bravo Is I could do a 180 like that on a dime, but my bravo IIIs turn the same direction and that technique does nothing good. Maybe I need to play some more, Do you steer into turn or just oppose drives???

Not sure what classifies a performance boat but mine will put 78-80 on the GPS without a sweat! I'm running bravo 1's and only trouble I have docking is in a heavy wind, real tough to keep enough power to hold the nose from drifting...all the onlookers I gladly offer for them to do better! But ideal conditions its a cake walk to manuver! And looks bad ass coasting in! Lol was thinking of going to xr's or #3's, got a feeling my motors will crater my bravos

What engines and props will get the SC to 78-80 MPH?
