I priced cockpit skins for my 93 lightning back in the summer from fountain. I do not remember the name of the person I spoke to but the price quoted was $4400.00. Now keep in mind this price was for cockpit skins only. Does this price seem out of line.

Joanna Bodwin is who I usually deal with at Fountain, so it may have been her. Two summers ago, I paid $1,400 for only the sunpad skins on my old 38. Fountain tends to be pretty expensive on stuff like this, but they have the patterns and the logos, etc. It seems a bit high to me.

Thanks for the reply, I believe that is who I spoke with. I have a local place in my area who has done work for me in the past and does very nice work. He has already done the sun pad and it looks great. He will do the whole cockpit including cutting the material and the tear out and reinstall for $4500.00. That is why I have to question Fountains price for just the material. Just thought that it was very high.

Just picked up my hatch and bench seat from XT innovations in Ohio. New foam, composite substructure instead of wood in the hatch, new vinyl absolutely factory quality actually better. Would definitely recommend. Will take the rest of my interior there next winter.

$3700 and worth it. Like anything else every job is different. Yours could be less, could be more depends on what you want colors, material, patterns. Contact Dave and see what he says. One thing for sure, you won't be unsatisfied.
