I'd say a 28p 4 blade, and with that setup mid 80's solid

Nah just a wise remark after spending hours cleaning a boat, uncovering and lining up having the power pulled because someone was coming with cash for sure.

Thanks for the info, that seems very good for that power. guess fountains do go very well through the water. Does anyone know who to contact about new sun pad covers? the ones on it are in very good condition just looking for something different than the original fountain multi stripe in in teal and pink

There was a thread not that far back, a guy that does great work on sun pads and has pictures on it, might be a page or two back.

1994 would be a straight bottom 38. With custom built 509's, making around 575HP per side, I'd probably start with a pair of 26p props. I am guessing these engines need to be spun around 5500?

My guess will be, upper 70's with that power, maybe 80 on a good day. That hull ran low 70's with HP465's I believe, and upper 60's with 502 mags.

If you can get 85+, out of a straight bottom old 38 Fever, with 575HP per side, I'd be blown away..
