Default 32 Fever

Could somebody that has a 32 fever do me a favor and measure between the transom assemblies for me please? My boat is in storage and I can't get to it. I'm going to be purchasing hydraulic steering for it and need to know that measurement as I would like to put it between the drives. Thanks!

Thank you very much! And with those measurements that means I need shorter Rams, which somehow is more expensive than longer Rams......

Will the longer Rams fit on the outside without running into the sides of the swim platform? I think thy call for 17 3/4" off the side of the transom assembly or 9" for the shorter Rams.

I'm also in the process of converting to ext steering to my 1990 29 Fever.
Our drive spacing's are similar (I'm at 22.25").
I took a quick look in the bilge and looks like outside mounted cylinders will be a lot easier to access from the bilge with the engs installed.
I saw where the Mayfair options are 9" and 17.75". Neither will work for me.
IMCO has a 11.5" option that might just work. Just not real crazy abt drill/tapping my drives.

Update: I was looking at the wrong drive type for the IMCO option.
It's 11.25" for the Bravo drives. Still might work since they give you up to 1.5" tolerance above center line.

Here's a pic of the starboard side situation:

Thanks guys! I just bought an Imco system last night that should work between the drives. I haven't looked in the bilge since the end of October, so I'm not sure what I'll be up against just yet. I'd rather keep them between the drives as I think it's a cleaner look, but if all else fails I can always go outside.

That's what I was afraid of with the Mayfair. The way the swim platform support comes down I had a feeling the longer Rams just would not work. I picked up a year old Imco setup from SmokinGun (Gordon) last night. He's an incredibly knowledgable guy!! He assured me the Rams will work between the drives and it's extremely simple to install, couple hours he says.... Ha, not for me I'm sure! This will be a weekend project without a doubt!

Is there anything in the way on the inside of the transom that would not allow it to be mounted between drives, or just harder to access? I'll be replacing my exhaust tails as well so that will free up a bunch of room to access the center better.

Congrats on the low time IMCO set-up.
If you have silent choice piping installed, that may be an issue.
Removing the inboard silent choice valves and the Y-pipes will help a lot.

Here's what I'm looking at on mine:

Verses outboard mounting. Should be somewhere below the 2 nuts close to the center of image:

Here's the only pic I have with an eng out. This was taken before I purchased the boat. It's much cleaner now in there now Look straight across from the gimble bearing. That's where you'll be drilling.
