2003 32 W/6.2 LS3's
Looking at this boat who has one are they LS motors ? and what to expect ? Thanks ...after 3 years off stepping back in 😎
Sounds like a cool setup.
It sounds like a winning package the lightness of a LS if they are ,,should help the CG of the 32 and launch
Are you sure they are ls's
6.2s stock are stroked 350's My 292 runs 72-73 If it does have the ls motors I would love to know how it runs. That would be a great upgrade to any 292. |
This is the info I'm looking for , the 6.2's that I have seen in ski boats were Ls3 blocks but those were Indmar marine , Not Merc ... I have seen a lot of rigging setups and never seen the Merc 6.2 in a fountain ,have heard two stories as to what they are . Either way looking for feed back on someone who has this set up , haven't seen the watertest or upclose with the hatch open yet , boat is still wrapped , also have seen two hp ratings 375 and 400 thanks
I though someone swapped them.
Fountain put them in the stock on some of thr 32's. They are mercruiser stock 6.2 340 hp. I found a few writeups on them when I was looking for a 292. They even put some 5.7's in them also.
70 at best I would say. Seems the donzi's and fountains with the small blocks run a few ticks slower than the formula's |
Here is one with 5.7's
http://m.powerboatlistings.com/view/36705 While it might not be the fastest on the water small blocks and bravos will live forever. When the motors get weak then it's small jump to ls's as they are getting figured out for swaps all the time now. |
I was referring to if they were ls motors.
Indy ... I have been told the 6.2s were LS motors but other info indicates that if they are original (which they are) they are stroked 5.7s votec blocks either is ok was hoping to hear from a owner who has the setup in a 32 thanks..
