If I had the room in my facility to house a 42 I would have bought that boat at American custom Marine over my 35. It is bye far the cleanest one I have looked at in the past year and I have looked at about 10.

The other thing is the plexi wind screen, it is basically what I had in my 35'. Long time looking through that screen, need glass! I decided to move forward on the 42 @ Shogren, staggered 500hp's, low hours, CLEAN! Also has a glass screen... maybe to much glass...lol I have the P&S set, doing a survey next week. Should be good to go as I got a thumbs up from a fellow OSO brother that knew the boat's previous owner. So thanks for the help guys, hope this one treats me as well as my 35 did. |
If that deal falls through, I just listed a 2000 model with rebuilt 500EFIs, new custom paint on a Manning.

It does look good. I like green on a boat!

What kind of speeds can a 42 stagger run with 500efi's? I like the one glenn posted!

Some people say 80 I would say 76 to 78 depending on how hard you work on your set up.

MM is spot on! Boat should run around 75 +/-.
