Default Disconnecting Trim and Tab pumps 32 Fever

What is the standard procedure for working around the engines on a 32 Fever? I can't get down in there because the trim and tab pumps are in the way. They look like they have quick disconnect mounts where one bolt releases them and they could be moved out of the way. The hydraulic lines have enough slack where they wouldn't need to be disconnected. The problem is all the wires. They are short and each pump has 4 to 5 wired to unhook. Has anybody set theirs up to move the pumps out of the way quickly?

Thanks,

You can undo the wires, remove the rear mounting bolt, and then twist the pumps around and lay them over the rear seat back for the 1 time need. But you gotta be real careful and not twist the hyd lines.

Shouldn't you be on cruisersrus.com? lol

Yes and I hope yes.
It's been a long road, moving 3 times in the 4 1/2 years I have been here and buying a house that needed a LOT of work sure made the boat take a back seat. I finally got Janet convince she doesn't need a new kitchen till next spring so I could finish the boat, that and saying I would call my buddies at BOSE and move to MI if we didn't finish this thing helped.

Just waiting for a new injector (number 8 on starboard stuck OPEN) then maybe I can do a sea trial. After that all I have to do is wire the new dock and lift!

But back to the OP.

Pretty much what US1 said or for a more permanent fix what I did.

Cheers,

That is awesome! I see you moved the fire bottle to a better place too. I wonder why it wasn't done like that from the factory.
