Default Questions about 29 fever

I sold my 97 29 fever last year and want to get another but this time with twins. There's one here locally that caught my eye. Only thing that I kind of questioned was it has twin 454 carb motors which I would think a 2001 would have efi motors and the fact he says top speed is 73mph running bravo 26p props. Is that about the normal speed of twin 454 29's? Other then that the boat seems to be in good shape.

Sounds about right with my limited experience with Fountains. A pair of 525s would bring it to life. Get it surveyed for wet wood. Bravo props are over rated in pitch by at least one pitch number. I run a 30 and I couldn't pull a 30 in any other brand prop.

Just the other day I was talking to the guy who bought my 98 29 with 454 efi 385hp 26 Hydro's and he said they got it to 77.

So 73mph with a carb setup and 26 bravos is probably about right.
