I finally got my 7.7's installed Monday along with LED rings. I'm running thru a nice head unit and a very clean 2 channel amp. The sound is awesome!! I'm so glad I went with the 7.7's.. These 2 speakers completely blow away the four Pioneer 6X9's that were in the boat when I bought it. There's enough bass for the kind of music I listen to 95% of the time (classic rock).
I've yet to get the boat on the water since the install so I can't say how it will sound at cruise speed. I do like the idea of running only 1 lightly loaded amp. May be able to get away with not adding that extra batt.:D |
