I saw the ad for the Fountain in Canada what's in involved in bringing a boat back into the US

Well my search isn't going to good I drove to southern Maryland two weeks ago, after a guick look I think the boat may have been under at one time. So that was a 994 mile round trip waste of time. Yesterday I drove a 500 mile round trip to look at another 27 Fountian out in Massachusetts. Well this was the cleanest boat I have seen and I have been looking at a lot of 27 Fountains & 26 Sonic's. Every thing was good till I checked transom with moisture meter. I have never gotten reading this high. Stringers dry but actually got wet reading from transom. I not interested in paying top dollar for boats with issues. So today just to make sure meter is still working properly I check six different boats at the marina, it's working most of them tested dry and some a little moisture in drain plug area. Just my luck when I'am not looking for a boat there is something nice for sale up here on Lake George

I actually looked it up the other day, cant remember all of it but pretty much a bill of sale is all you need and ownership documents, your going to pay taxes in NY on as usual. But there shouldn't be any duty. The transaction is easier if they bring the boat here and do the deal in the states. Just be sure to have proper titles, and you would have to figure out an exchange rate.

Double R has 2 or 3 sitting in their yard located about an hour north of Toronto. 705-487-7575. May be worth a call. Their website is not too often current to what is in stock.
