I have 29 Fever and I'm having a problem with the cabin bilge pump. I replaced the pump because it was burnt out. After replacing it, it still wasn't kicking on. I pulled the sensor/float out and while holding it in the air it activated the pump. At one point while holding the sensor/float again it activated the pump again and after it was going for over a minute I cut the power to it so wouldn't burn pump. The sensor/float is original from 2000 so I'm gonna replace it but it doesn't have a brand on it. Has anyone replaced one and do you know what brand it is? Or has someone gone with another set up? Thanks

To start, water in the cabin is just a bit of a problem. The prudent thing here would be to look for the source of the water. Those pumps are a joke to start with, a Dollar Store turkey baster will do a better job of getting the little bit of water that my be in there out. I do not say that in jest, I have one sitting in there, it works!

I have yet to find that damn pump under the step. Is there a little hatch under the carpet under the step of something? I can never think to really look good for it but I put a tool kit under that step and didn't see anything under it. My carpet gets wet in the cabin right around the step at times so maybe I need to try and find it. I put two new motors in not long ago and there was a ton of stuff in the bilge that I cleaned up. I wouldn't be surprised if the water didn't drain from the front very well at all.
