Default 35 EX with Hydromotive props

so I have a 04 35 EX with typical 496 HOs,was thinking of trying some Hydromotive props, has anybody tried Hydros and how do they compare to the Bravos?
right now I have 32 Bravos,should I try 30s or 32s Hydros?

My shot here would be to go with 30 Bravos to test, preferably Merc labbed. I assume your boat is one of the 1.87 geared lower ones, they liked the 32's. My single step 35 liked the Hydros out of the box and the Merc labbed Bravos, both worked well. I had 1.5 Bravos with 500's and ran 26 box stock Hydros and Merc labbed 28 Bravos. Hydros were the better on the top end, Bravos were better cruisers for every day use. Both were very good on the boat.

I need to correct what I said here, have no idea what the fock I was thinking.

My single step 35 with carb 500's ran 26" stock Hydro four blades, also had a pair of 28" Merc lab Bravo 4 blades, both sets spun to 5400 +/-. If you want to try some Hydromotive four blades you need a pair of stock 30's, or maybe some 29's. Hydromotive props seem to have more bite than the Merc props do. Sorry for the fubar info before. On my 35 single step Fountain the difference was in the boat attitude at speed, both sets ran the same top end number.

I love my lab finished Hydromotive Quad 4s. Even with mild stock horsepower I know they make me faster.

I have a 35 smooth bottom, I run 28 Hydro Q4'S, they work out great on my setup, a 30 Hydro is equal to a 32 Bravo,,,
Hydromotive Prop is a Stern lifter, Bravo is a Bow lifter.
This is my 4th. boat I have changed from Bravo 4 blade props to Hydro Q4 props, all have ran a little faster on top end w/ Hydro Q4.
