I lost one of the snaps for the cockpit cover on the wrap around windshield. Where would the best place to start looking for one?
Should any boat place have one or should I call Fountain or their windshield supplier.
The snap fits into a grove at the top of the windshield.

If you mean that your cockpit cover attaches to the top of the windshield frame, as does mine, you should be able to go to most any canvas guy and get ones that will replace the missing ones. I had a couple go in the drink and the local canvass guy had the same thing right in his box.

Or your local marine service/supply shop. Ours has lots snaps, screws, etc.
