Looking for a project

Hi all. I've decided to get back to the market after ten years. I miss my old 10 meter. I redid that boat, the tread is around here somewhere under bryanspeedracer...
I'm looking for a project, interior, needs power, soft transom, etc prefer twins have 15k or so.

Thanks!

Bryan

Check Craigslist NJ I think I saw a few or might be NY

BRT 11-13-2016 02:16 PM

Thanks. I'll take a look

i have a 2004 ex. bad glass damage. cost about 15k to repair. but you can have the hull for 1500. clean paperwork.

Mseuro 11-14-2016 10:01 PM

I don't have a project boat for you but if your really into pain I can offer a few nails in the ear to tide you over.

Sorry I just finished with mine and I would not have considered it a project boat, just trying to clean up and upgrade, I was ready to sux on a .38 toward the end and almost considered selling it.

BRT 11-15-2016 04:18 AM

I can relate although I do enjoy working on them.

I can't do a bare hull. I don't want the project to go on for years. Ideally, I'd like something in the early '90s that is otherwise complete but needs works. There has to be something positive to start with other than the idea of owning a boat

Thanks to all that have responded

There's a 96 32 with trailer on Facebook powerboat swap shop for 6500 in Chicago. Boat was stolen from the guy and professionally stripped of rigging, otherwise looks in great shape.

Crude Intentions 11-16-2016 09:24 AM

That 32 was stripped of everything. Bare hull. They even took the dash. Not the dash panel but looks to be the whole damn dash. Lol

BRT 11-16-2016 10:51 AM

I saw that. I need more to start with but thanks.

No one has a boat out back that's broke?

Pete35Fountain 11-16-2016 04:03 PM

I responded to your IM.. I don't think my boat will qualify since my number is significantly north of 15K. Pair of fresh 502' fresh XR's full hull paint, new dash and gauges.

Pete35Fountain 11-16-2016 04:09 PM

Check Double R in Hawkestone Ontario. They have had a 35 sitting out back for a couple of years now. Boat is named 'No Problem" and comes complete with radar arch. It's been there a few years, and definitely needs some attention. I'm not sure what the status is on the boat but I suspect the hull is fairly sound based on some other info I have been provided. 705-487-7575.

I'll be past their yard a couple of times in the next 2 days, might be able to snap a couple of pics for you if you want.

indysupra 11-16-2016 05:53 PM

I just got done with a project, if you want you can give me a few grand, I'll clamp your nuts in a vise and we can go out seperate ways. It will save you money I promise lol.

BRT 11-16-2016 07:29 PM

Pete- if you do that'd be great. I'll call as well

Indy- sounds tempting. Maybe my last project wasn't enough of a deterrent...

I'm open to other boats but the fountain I had was such a great boat, I just always wished it had the built in platform

I took a drive by but didn't see the boat.

Check out this ebay ad from right here in Webster. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-38-Foun...m=192029077036

BRT 11-21-2016 06:49 AM

Thanks whiplash. I looked at that boat last week.
The owner is on the site. He could speak to the condition of it

315duramax 11-22-2016 05:53 PM

I also have a carbon 92 top gun. on trailer. totally rigged. brand new paint. (soon. you could choose the design if you want) just needs motors installed and drives.

cdail28590 11-23-2016 12:58 PM

How was the condition of it? I tried contacting the guy but never heard anything.

BRT 11-23-2016 08:11 PM

315- I'd like to get some info on your boat. Can I call or you call me?
Cdail- pm me your number I'll call you and give you my take.

BRT 12-12-2016 09:32 PM

Still looking. There has to be someone that wants to get rid of their boat before Christmas.

Ideally '90 or newer 35.

Not too much of a project, and a couple $ over what your looking to spend, but it's been for sale for a while, and you said you miss your old 10M.....

adrenalinejunkey 01-18-2017 12:50 AM

Is this boat still available?? If so please call or text me anytime at 508-631-4784

Fountain Fever 02-12-2017 09:18 PM

Hello BRT. Sent you a PM.

BRT 02-13-2017 08:50 PM

Thanks for the pm. I was hot to trot and unexpectedly had to replace a vehicle which beat the hell out of my boat budget for a short time.
Post it up here. I'm sure someone will get after it.

Bryan

BRT 12-08-2017 07:07 PM

Let's try this again. I've moved my budget to 50k max. Looking for turn key, reliable. Would really like to stay at 35'

thanks-Bryan
