Where are all the fountains going

Clean, well maintained boats are getting harder to find. It took me 1.5 years to find the right 38 Lightning late last summer. It is getting more difficult to find a truly clean no excuses boat, the fleet is getting older and older.

Not true. Retail price for a new Donzi, Fountain, Baja twin I/O is the same as 10-15 years ago. The "creative" financing made them affordable and was able to put many more people into a performance boat. Much different scenario now.

Obscenely overpriced and absolutely zero innovation. Look at the 2017 38ft for sale 428k And it still has the same cheap looking plastic cockpit with the machine screws drilled into the fiberglass 10-15 years ago was conspicuous consumption and you had the nostalgia that goes with Reggie. If they don't reinvent themselves the great Fountain brand is not going to exist.

428k for a 38ft fountain with bravos 15 years ago? No way.

Why would you pay $428k for a 565/bravo boat when you could buy this for the same money? http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...-s-o67951.html

over priced.
